No one would fucking ask me out for pints… And yeah, I could try to start a discussion about gender inequality and the subjectification of women. Audience response to Might Never Happen
Might Never Happen was devised by founding company members of Doll’s Eye Theatre in 2016. The first performance of the Piece took place at The King’s Head Theatre in Islington, London.
Birth Right by Amy Ewbank - 2018

Showcased for 5 nights at The Calder Theatre in 2018, Birth Right is the story of three pregnant strangers- their fears, beliefs and what they think they should or shouldn't expect when we decide to have a child. Birth Right was informed by an extensive research period of focus groups and interviews with those working within NHS maternity services, and those who have given birth with NHS support services.
The Forbidden by Tina Jay - 2015
Produced in 2015, The Forbidden is the story of four young women who meet in a café, sixteen years after a dark and dangerously destructive happening which changed their lives forever.
Doll’s Eye worked with writer Tina Jay from the inception of the play, to workshop and develop. Tina Jay is a previous winner of the Kenneth Branagh Award for New Drama Writing her play, WALKING, and the International Student Playscript Competition (judged by Sir Alan Ayckbourn), for ROTTEN APPLES, subsequently performed at the Royal Exchange, Manchester.
